Ladies Lunch
Anything will do...
Go HEELS!
I have to say, I feel mighty cool being able to work with the UNC Gymnastics Coach! Coach Derek is one of the nicest men I have ever met. Well, besides Dave, my Dad and Dave's Dad and Lee.. anyway he is great! This year the Pink Pacers joined up with a program called Get REAL & HEEL and the UNC Gymnastics team. It has been so much fun and I can not wait to see what the year will hold for us. First up, we have helped Coach Derek create his 4th annual Cancer Awareness Fair that will take place before his first home meet against Maryland. February 14th is the big day and we are super excited! I love that my kiddos get to be a part of the Pink Pacers now and actually see their Mama at work! (well, volunteer work) Go HEELS!
Game Time!
Scott had 6 points in his first game (against Kindergardeners) and he thought he was the best player ever. On the way to the 2nd game, I gentlly let him know that he may not have that many points every game. Scott was like "whatever" and went on the court to practice. During this game, he had a very talented kid marking him and held him away from the ball the whole time! I pulled Scott aside at half time and said "hey, why don't you move around so that you can get away from #40?" Scott said "I kept asking him to not stand in front of me but he wouldn't listen."
So much to learn young one..so much to learn.
Hoop it up Scooter!
Happy New Years in the Mountains!
We were so lucky to be able to go up to the mountains for another year of fun! Ben and Jason were there and they brought their close friend Allie! We LOVED Allie and are so excited to have a wonderful new friend to kick off the new decade! We had about a foot of snow and ice and as you can see, the kids (and Ben) had a blast! I hope that no matter where Ben and Jason go, we are always able to spend New Years together! (or some other fun weekend)

Seriously? Could it be any better?
After we had our small Chrsitmas at our house, we went over to Nannie and Grandad's house to be with the whole family. The cousins had a blast!
When it was time to open presents the kids piled onto the couch and chairs awaiting to rip open the packages! I have to say this was one of the funniest moments this Christmas! Before we could stop Scooter, he opened the big gift from Nannie and Grandad before Walker and John had opened theirs. As you can see, they were all a BIT shocked! The boys did not know that they were getting this fancy new toy and the look on their faces were priceless! Scott opened up an I TOUCH and the dropped jaw look that John and Walker gave was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. Needless to say, Nannie and Grandad outdid themselves this year. I think they are a little excited about being so close to all of our madness!
