Dave, Scott and Anna's Maiden Voyage. None of these Gilliam's have ever been pulled behind a boat and it was a HUGE success! They loved it and are ready for many years. We hope that we were nice enough house guests to be invited back some day. :)

Relaxing before the big week of starting 1st grade. Life can be hard sometimes.

Always be prepared

Always be prepared for an impromptu photo shoot. It was Friday and Anna and Scott both had their final day at Manners and Ballet Camp. As we were gearing up for our big trip to the lake with the neighbors we were lucky enough to have our car break down on the way home. Luckily, David Deneau was right down the road and was able to come over to the bread store and jump the car. We then headed on our way home to pack for their lake house when the car broke down again right at the entrance of our neighborhod. We were thankful that it was very close to home but not happy because it was 100 thousand degrees AND we were suppose to be heading out to the lake! Luckily it all worked out, including the impromptu photo shoot! We had fun even though we were melting and irritated by our delayed departure to the lake.

I can see that they were really miserable on the side of the road. They are so cute and totally hiding the fact that they were hot and ready to go to the lake!

First Grade....here we come!

Our little Prima Ballerina

Anna is poised and ready to do her thing in her final ballet camp performace. She was the star of the show (in my eyes) as she danced around the room to beautiful classical music. She twirled and danced and appeared to love every minute of it. As Grandaddy likes to say "that girl has fairies in her head." I think Grandaddy may be right.

Manners camp

Scott is on his way to Manners Camp. He may need to go back and retake the class. Luckily, he only did this at home and was the star of the camp. It wasn't too surprising since he is usually the rule follower of the household and the rule enforcer. He will let you know if you are not doing something the right way. I guess it is good that he still has a sense of humor under all of those rules!
