Alley Lake Trip 2011

4th of July in Tennessee

We had a great 4th of July this year in good ole Tennessee! We visited with Seth and his crew and the cousins had a blast. We can not wait until they can all be together again.

Disney! Disney! Disney!

We love the fact that Disney has been a part of Dave's business trips! We were able to go to Disney again this year and stay at the Contemporary. The best part of this trip was that we surprised Scott and Anna! They had no idea. Dave and I snuck into their rooms at 5 AM and woke them up. They had no idea what was going on. I think that we were a little more excited then them!

Thank goodness Dave's work requires that they have a conference at the happy place on earth! It was a super fun time and we love being able to tag along. Luckily, Dave did not have to work the first day we were there and was able to play with us in the park. The rest of the time the kids and I hung around the pools and roughed it. Thank goodness we are really good at roughing it. Especially when we are at Disney!

...and I love this picture. Anna is 5 and Scott is 7. They are super cute together when they are not fighting over music and games! I love that 95% of the time, they have a blast together and are actually kind. I wonder how long this will last. Fingers crossed a long time!

Anna's Art Show!

It was Anna's last week of school at Epworth and her wonderful teachers, Shirley and Leah, held an artshow. Above is a few items from the show and Anna was super proud of show them off. Shirley and Leah did an amazing job of packing the year with fun art! Anna's bag was full of it each week. We are so lucky that she was able to go to Epworth! We will miss everyone but are super excited for Scroggs.

Anna graduates from Preschool!

Anna is finally in the BIG KID SCHOOL! She has officially finished preschool and we are so excited that Anna and Scott will be in the Scroggsl. We are so proud of her and who she is becoming. I can not wait to see what she has to offer Kindergarten! Watch out world..here she comes!
